Sorting tables

Single column sort

You can sort tables by clicking on the column header of the column you wish to sort. Repeating clicks allow you to cycle through the different sorting options (ascending, descending, not sorted). The current sorting status is indicated by an icon next to the column header. Please note that sorting is not available for all data types. For example TEXT fields cannot be sorted (see also Field types.

Multi-column sorting

You can sort by more than one columns. Hold SHIFT, then click on the desired column headers of the columns you wish to sort. Columns will be sorted in the same order you clicked. The order of the sorting will be the same as the order of the clicking on different column-headers. Sorting order is indicated by a number next to the column header.

Preserving the sorting of a table

The sorting on table widgets is only preserved if performed in the widget editor (either at first creation or editing the widget later). Simply sorting table widgets on your dashboard will sort the the tables correctly, but this state will not be preserved and a page refresh will reset your sorting.
